The slopes of Sinaia were alive with excitement on February 28 and March 1 as young athletes gathered for Cupa Carpați 2026, an alpine skiing competition organized by Clubul Sportiv Carpați Sinaia. Dedicated to the youngest generations of skiers, the event welcomed participants from the 2015–2016, 2017–2018, and 2019 and younger age categories, all eager to test their skills and enjoy the thrill of competition.
Across two days of Giant Slalom races, competitors showed determination, focus, and enthusiasm, creating a lively and positive atmosphere both on the course and during the awards ceremony. Every start brought anticipation, every run showed progress, and every finish line reflected the effort behind each performance. The event offered young athletes not only a chance to compete, but also an opportunity to gain experience, build confidence, and enjoy the spirit of fair play alongside their peers.
