At Arnia, we are fully committed to nurturing young talent, and we were immensely proud to support the players from the Arnia ChessIT club as they competed in the European Youth Chess Championship (EYCC) 2024 in Prague, Czech Republic. This prestigious event, held from August 16th to September 1st, brought together over 1200 players from 39 countries, highlighting the finest emerging chess talents in Europe.
Throughout the competition, our Arnia ChessIT players demonstrated remarkable growth, resilience, and determination. They made significant strides in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and maintaining focus under pressure—skills that are invaluable not just in chess, but in all areas of life.
Participating in the EYCC 2024 gave these young players an exceptional learning experience. They faced various challenges, learned valuable lessons from each match, and further developed their abilities. Our talented players also brought home an impressive four European medals—three silver and one bronze—in rapid, blitz, and classical chess.
Beyond their technical accomplishments, these young players showed outstanding sportsmanship and dedication, embodying the qualities of perseverance and determination that define true champions.
