Job description

You’ll be joining a passionate team with bold ambitions. Working closely with our Principal Architect, you will design and develop pragmatic, complete and maintainable software solutions to the agreed development plan and to approved specifications.

As a .Net Technical Lead, you will support and coach a team of developers and lead the team on new and existing systems as required. You will support innovation projects to create new products as well as contribute/take a lead on software analysis, design, and specification tasks for specific modules and functions. Not only will you be working with the best tools and technology, but you will be working on some really exciting projects that will have an impact on how customers engage with our partners.

About the project

As a .Net Technical Lead, you will work on an Identity Provider (CIDP) product. CIDP is a product that helps manage single sign on from client environments into other various products. CIDP has been integrated into around 10 clients’ identity management systems and is providing SSO integrations into 5 products. We need someone to work on BAU support of the product and help manage a .NETcore upgrade. The CIDP team is small with a support developer and automation QA in the UK.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Around 10 years of .NET experience (Framework or .NET Core)
  • Hands on experience with OpenID connect, SAML and OAuth2 is critical
  • Ability to work autonomously on support issues, dev tasks and .NET upgrade tasks.
  • Excellent experience in a similar technical systems or application software development role in both agile and structured project environments
  • Ability to navigate and work with fast-changing priorities.
  • Able to work with and guide junior members of the team.
  • Able to work across a number of products, with the ability to context switch efficiently
  • Experience of working across multiple delivery organisations practicing distributed development in a global environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience at all levels internally and externally
  • Experience on React / Node.js / TypeScript will be good to have
  • Demonstrable experience of AWS technologies and Source Control tools (GIT).
  • Demonstrable technical capability using SQL server to develop databases, structure efficient queries, and work to tune the performance
  • Solid experience working with unit testing frameworks, and experience of integration testing and continuous integration
  • Good knowledge of web development frameworks
  • Knowledge and experience of SOA methodologies for software design and delivery.
