We’re looking for an experienced Scala Developer to join our dynamic and collaborative team. You’ll be working on impactful projects in the energy sector, contributing to the development of smart, sustainable software solutions that support the future of clean energy.
This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a team that values autonomy, innovation, and technical excellence.
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable applications using Scala
Collaborate with Agile teams in delivering efficient and reliable software solutions
Take ownership of development tasks from concept to deployment
Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Stay up-to-date with Scala trends and best practices
Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
At least 3 years of hands-on Scala development
Solid experience working in Agile development environments
Proactive mindset and ability to take ownership of your work
Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
Experience in the energy sector is a strong advantage
Full remote work – work from anywhere

I joined the Arnia team in 2011 on the XpressEngine project (PHP based CMS, most popular in South-East Asia) and now I’m leading the team that develops our own CMS, Karybu.
