Overview
We’re looking for a software developer with a genuine passion for technology to support a collaborative team.
As a Frontend Developer, you will play a vital role in creating engaging and user-friendly web experiences. Your proficiency in frontend technologies, including React, TypeScript, NextJS and Rest API Integrations.
Working alongside technologists and subject matter experts, you will be responsible for implementing functionalities across an application designed for a renowned toy maker’s platform with over 500 mil visitors.

A key platform for engaging grown-up fans and leveraging crowd-sourced designs.
The team will consist of five front-end developers, including a TL from Arnia.
Responsibilities
The team will be tasked with replacing the existing administrative tools integrated with the Ideas platform. The current system is built using Vue, jQuery, Backbone, and Marionette, with a RESTful API backend. The goal is to transition the entire system to a React/Next.js framework.
We are looking primarily at engineers who have React/Next.js experience who can build a replacement system utilizing the existing APIs and with the reference to the existing legacy platform. The team will need to use Click UI as well for the styling and be required to work from existing screens but build out the new functionality in a more sustainable/long-term framework.
About you
Ideally, you will have at least 5 years of experience in software development.
We are seeking engineers with strong experience in React and Next.js to help build a new system that will replace the current legacy platform. The role involves leveraging our existing APIs and referencing the legacy system while developing the new platform. The team will also use Click UI for styling and work from existing screens to implement new functionality within a more sustainable and future-proof framework.

I joined the Arnia team in 2011 on the XpressEngine project (PHP based CMS, most popular in South-East Asia) and now I’m leading the team that develops our own CMS, Karybu.
